After You’re Hired – Then What? Once you’ve been offered and accepted a position with Action, the next step is training. The length and number of stops on the linehaul / route you’ll be driving
determines the amount of training required to properly perform your job to customer’s satisfaction. Most drivers are well-trained and ready to strike out on their own after multiple training
routes. New drivers can always obtain additional training from their supervisor should the need arise.
Referral Bonus Program
Many of our drivers have been with the company for several years or more. Being with a company you
enjoy working for usually means you’d like to tell your piers about your experience. With this in mind, Action Expediting offers a $1000 referral bonus to drivers that successfully recruit new drivers. The first $500 is paid after the new driver completes 30 days of satisfactory employment and the remainder is paid in increments of $250 – after 90 days and 180 days. This program has been most effective in hiring and retaining excellent drivers – as well as putting some extra money in our existing employees’ hands.
Dress Code Action requires that all of our drivers maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times. Hair must be collar length, beards trimmed and shirts tucked in.
